Nichelle Nichols Farewell Celebration Burbank, CA

About Nichelle

If there ever was an icon in television, film, and even history that portrayed a trailblazer unmatched in her accomplishments, it would be Nichelle Nichols. From her stereotype-smashing role as one of the first African-American female characters not portrayed as a servant or housekeeper; to her groundbreaking interracial kiss with co-star William Shatner; to her dedicated work with NASA as a recruiter for females and minorities, Nichelle never did anything half-way.

Martin Luther King, an avid Trek fan himself, once told Nichelle, “I am your greatest fan. You’re part of history.” Truer words are rarely spoken. Nichelle has been a priceless gem in our history and on May 1 - 3, we invite you to join us for Nichelle’s final voyage with those friends and fans that love and adore her. Come spend time with this extraordinary woman—the last opportunity that you will have to celebrate with her—and join in the celebration of her incredible life and amazing achievements.
